Founded in 1887, California Hospital is a 318-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital located in downtown Los Angeles. Services include emergency and trauma care, obstetrics, women's health, and heart care.

Founded in 1926, Glendale Memorial is a 334-bed, acute care, nonprofit, community hospital with an award winning heart center, the Colorectal Surgery Institute, a gastrointestinal program, and is a primary stroke center.
